Last week, I didn’t have a reservation, so I decided to walk in and try my luck. Fortunately, the store manager, Mr. Yuki, ended up styling my hair. I have naturally frizzy, curly hair, but his amazing layering technique worked beautifully with my natural texture. Now, my hair is easy to manage and looks great! To top it off, he gave me a wonderful blowout at the end so I could look fabulous all day long. Even though we had a language barrier, it wasn’t an issue at all—Mr. Yuki was patient and understood exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!
I checked out other people’s recommendations on Google Reviews and decided to visit “Truth 上野店.” Originally, when I made the reservation, I intended to get a perm, but the hairstylist suggested that I focus on hair care and trimming instead. The price was almost the same as the perm treatment, but in the end I accepted his advice. I also mentioned to the manager that my hair is naturally curly, and without straightening treatments it can be very difficult to manage. At the time, he assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. However, after I washed my hair, the situation got completely out of hand 🤪. Now I think I’ll have to spend more money next week to fix it again.

I don’t recommend it to the visitor. The haircut is ok,but the service is not that good.(comparing to the other salon that I tried in Japan) The stylists secretly judged the client and they think you might not understand japanese.As a customer, I feel disrespected of it.
The most long lasting memorable part of our Japan trip which we were sooo lucky to have thanks to the extra time the kind souls here put into explaining everything with translations and put in extra time to update the permanent hair straightening the way we wanted after trying a recommended option. We are forever grateful for the experience here and lucky that the product was really high quality and used with such care to make hair more repaired and clean. Thank you again
