It was a very good experience at the salon. I didn't have a lot of time and they still manage to wash, cut and style my hair for my trip. The salon itself was very clean and has a great atmosphere. Kosuke is a very skilled and nice hairdresser and understood what I needed as a client. Meimiura was an amazing stylist. I had a Head Spa and haircut. I am very pleased with both. Excellent service, courteous and she did a great job communicating with my limited Japanese. She had me smell all products to make sure I was okay with them before use. If you go to Kamakura, visit this salon. It is very close to the train station!
I had an amazing experience at Cicata Hair Salon! I came in for a straight perm along with a layered cut and curtain bangs, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The stylists were incredibly professional, gentle, and attentive throughout the process. They really listened to what I wanted and gave helpful suggestions based on my hair type. The straight perm turned out beautifully—my hair is now smooth, sleek, and still looks natural, not overly flat or stiff. The layered cut added the perfect amount of movement, and the curtain bangs frame my face so nicely. It’s such a fresh and stylish look that I absolutely love! I had my first Japanese hair salon experience at Cicata and it was very satisfying! Yui-san was assigned to me for my hair wash, cut and blow dry. I must say she did a fantastic job. She made sure to consider my request and gave a beautiful haircut. The entire process was very relaxing. I loved her energy and enthusiasm to learn English (she is actually quite good at it)! It was fun talking to her. I would definitely recommend Cicata for its vibe and great staff! I cannot wait to come back again! :)
After having long hair for over 2 years and a big beard all Winter, I needed a Spring refresh cut. I booked same day with Yui san who happily accomodated my request for a shorter style. The whole appointment was incredibly relaxing, and Yui san was very fun and interesting to chat with. I live in Japan so we were mainly talking in Japanese, but she also speaks English for those just visiting Japan. ☺️ Great cut, awesome stylist, will definitely be back again for my next cut, hopefully sooner than 2 years 😅 *Provided photos of before and after.
