“Blue Cave SHIBUYA 2024” Shibuya's winter illuminations wrapped in fantastic blue light
The biggest winter illumination event “Blue Cave SHIBUYA” in Tokyo will be held from 2024/12/6 (Friday) to 12/25 (Wednesday) from Shibuya Koen-dori to Yoyogi Park Kayaki Namiki.
This year marks its 10th anniversary, and the entire blue cityscape of Shibuya invites visitors to a fantastic world.
Stunning blue illuminations
At the “Blue Cave Shibuya,” which has been visited by more than 15 million people, approximately 600,000 blue LEDs adorn all 127 trees from Yoyogi Park to Shibuya.
The bright blue light envelops the entire city, and you can enjoy an experience as if you have wandered into another world.
The scenery that lights up at 17:00 at dusk and is dyed all blue until 22:00, will be a memorable winter memory.
10th anniversary of “Blue Cave SHIBUYA”! Introducing “THE SNOW DOME”
A special production commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Blue Cave SHIBUYA in 2024 will also be added.
A huge spherical balloon “THE SNOW DOME” is placed on the row of keyaki trees in Yoyogi Park, and a fantastic image of a snow globe is projected.
The images projected inside the balloon create a mood as if snow is falling, and you can have a romantic experience perfect for the Christmas season.
