“Tachikawa Yokai Bon Dance 2024” will be held at GREEN SPRINGS in Tachikawa City for 3 days from 2024/10/12 (Sat) to 14 (Mon).

This event is truly a unique festival unique to Tachikawa City, combining traditional Bon dance with Japanese monster culture.

This event, which was a huge success last year, is coming back with even more power this year.

“Tachikawa Yokai Bon Dance” is a special Bon dance event where people dress up as “specters” that have been handed down since ancient times in Japan.

Participants can dress up as specters and dance with the monsters.

This year, a special makeup artist will be working on the main visual and decorations for the Yagura stage, and a deeper world of monsters will be recreated.

The fantastic and mysterious atmosphere will make you feel as if you have wandered into a different world.

“Tachikawa Yokai Bon Dance” is more than just a Bon dance event.

At the event, you can enjoy not only the Yo-kai Bon Dance but also special programs such as live artist shows, DJ stages, and yo-kai contests.

How to participate in the Yagura Stage Area

The Yagura stage area is a paid area, and a dress code (wearing a monster costume, yukata, or official event goods) is required.

Tickets can be purchased during the second pre-order period from 7/17 (Wed) to 9/2 (Mon).

The 3-day pass is 8500 yen (tax included), and the 1-day pass is 3000 yen (tax included) each.

Also, general sales will begin on 9/3 (Tuesday), and same-day tickets can also be purchased at the venue.

The number of tickets sold is limited, so we recommend that you buy early.

Special guest and artist performances

Many artists will perform live at the venue during the event.

“Yanagiya Mutsu and the Ratbones” and “Wadaiko Master Hirozumi - HIROZUMI” will appear on 12th (Sat), and “U-Zhaan × Tamaki Roy × Zenza Dopeness” and “Seppuku Pistols” will liven up the stage on 13th (Sun).

On the 14th (Monday/holiday), “Ishino Table Tennis” and “ZOMBIE-CHANG” will participate, and you can enjoy a special time with the monsters.
