A new landmark for sightseeing in Shibuya! Let's experience the reopened SHIBUYA TSUTAYA

Speaking of Shibuya, many people probably think of the world-famous “scramble crossing.”

“SHIBUYA TSUTAYA,” which is located close to that intersection, was completely reopened on 2024/4/25.

The image of rental shops up until now has been renewed, and “create a world with what you like.” Under the theme, it has been reborn as a new-style cultural transmission base with intellectual property (IP) such as diverse manga, characters, and designs as keywords.

SHIBUYA TSUTAYA has a total of 10 floors, from 2 basement floors to 8 floors above ground.

This is a spot I definitely want to visit as a new highlight of Shibuya sightseeing.

2nd Basement Floor: Entertainment Wonderland

The “Entertainment Wonderland” on the 2nd basement floor mainly exhibits famous artists and idols from Japan and overseas.

Their appeal is fully conveyed in the exhibition, which makes full use of huge panels and oversized 4K vision.

At the limited-time pop-up store, in addition to selling CDs, DVDs, photo books, etc., you can also get limited-edition products only for SHIBUYA TSUTAYA.

Due to the renewal, “Starbucks Coffee,” which is dedicated to takeout on the 1st floor and an eat-in space on the 2nd floor, is now operated independently. It's the perfect place to take a break from a busy day of sightseeing.
