A cherry blossom festival held on the Taito district side along the Sumida River, a famous place for cherry blossoms that has continued since the Edo period.

At Sumida Park along the Sumida River, approximately 510 cherry trees welcome visitors.

Held between Sakurabashi and Azumabashi from March 17 to April 7, this festival conveys the atmosphere of Edo to the present.

Cherry blossom viewing on a houseboat or water bus, along with spectacular views of the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree, offers an unforgettable experience.

Tokyo Tower's annual spring event, 333 “carp streamers” and “Pacific saury streamers.”

From March 20 to May 6, 333 colorful carp streamers will dance in the sky at Tokyo Tower to herald the arrival of spring.

Among them, there is also the only “Pacific saury streamer.” This landscape symbolizes traditional Japanese culture and the desire for reconstruction.

At Harimazaka in Bunkyo Ward, 120 cherry trees adorn the tree-lined street.

From March 23 to April 7, the cherry blossom trees become a pedestrian paradise, and you can enjoy local food and music.

A flower and music festival will be held at Koganei Park on March 23 and 24.

Local performing arts and live performances are performed under 1,400 cherry trees, and over 40 food stalls are lined up.

Cherry blossoms are also scheduled to be illuminated at night, making spring nights a special moment.
